We have Helped over 75 people Since 4.01.12

Carolina Shingle has helped over 75 people just in the last month get there roofs approved due to storm Damage. What makes us so successful well that's easy its our easy and efficient process.

Our Process

Let’s get to Work!

Step 1 – INSPECTION / CONTACTING THE INSURANCE COMPANY
Once contact is made with Carolina Shingle, we will schedule an on-site inspection and assessment of your roof and property for evidence of any storm-related damages. If evidence of storm damage is discovered, Carolina Shingle helps you contact your insurance company and file your claim at this time. The claim filing typically takes 5-10 minutes.
Step 2 - INSURANCE CONTACTS YOU WITH ADJUSTER APPOINTMENT INFO
Now that the claim has been filed and your insurance company has had a few days to process the claim, your insurance company will contact you to schedule a meeting with their adjuster.  IMPORTANT: Please note the time and date of the adjuster appointment and contact your Carolina Shingle representative with this information.
***Step 3 - CONTACT CAROLINA SHINGLE WITH ADJUSTER APPOINTMENT INFO***
Contact your representative from Carolina Shingle with the adjuster appointment date and time. We will assign one of our Adjuster Pros to meet with your adjuster ON THE ROOF.  This guarantees you that a fair and thorough assessment is made of all of the damages and will give you the BEST CHANCE of getting your roof approved for replacement.
Step 4 – ADJUSTER APPOINTMENT
Carolina Shingle will meet with adjuster ON THE ROOF and assess the damages.  Our primary goal at this meeting is to make sure that damage is not overlooked and that the adjuster has noted ALL damages sustained to your roof and property. We also assist the adjuster in measuring the roof, sketching the roof, and holding their ladder for added safety.  Carolina Shingle will then inform you if your roof has been approved for a complete replacement and as to what other damages will be covered in the settlement.
Step 5 - YOU RECEIVE YOUR SETTLEMENT PACKAGE / CONTACT CAROLINA SHINGLE
It usually takes about a week after your adjuster appointment to receive your settlement package by mail. At this time, call your Carolina Shingle representative to inform them that you have received it. We will then contact you shortly to schedule your work order meeting.
Step 6 – WORK ORDER MEETING
We will review your settlement statement, have you select your new shingle from our samples, and schedule your installation. Your settlement statement will show the Replacement Cost Value (RCV), which is the amount Carolina Shingle will be paid to install your new roof.  No bidding/haggling is necessary.  In the unusual event that the insurance company does not provide sufficient funds to complete the job, Carolina Shingle will simply contact them for any items needing supplemental funds.  This ensures you a “worry free” experience in knowing that they will be responsible for these funds and it will not be an added “hidden fee” to you.
Step 7 - INSTALLATION
The installation will be performed when we have a 1 to 2 day period with relatively no chance of rain. It takes approximately (1) day on an average home to remove the old shingles & underlayment and install your new roof system.  A final walkthrough will take place following the installation.

Step 8 - FINAL PAYMENT
When your roof is complete, Carolina Shingle will send an invoice to the insurance company notifying them that the new roof has been installed.  They will process this information and mail you funds so that you can pay Carolina Shingle.  This check may include necessary supplemental funds that Carolina Shingle submitted during the process and were subsequently approved. These funds (if any) will be due to Carolina Shingle.  Upon receipt, please contact Carolina Shingle and we will meet you to collect these funds.
